KALYON, is manufactured by wrapping spun polyester or cotton onto the continuous filament polyester core. The product is specially engineered for high performance in demanding sewing applications. There are 475 color selections in our KALYON catalogues and over 14 ticket numbers.

  KALYON brand olso provides special dyes which are applied to Poly Cotton. These are Indigo and Ecological dyes.

Indigo Dyed Poly Cotton:
Indigo dye does not completely diffuse to sewing thread. After endustrial wash the color of the indigo dyed sewing thread fades away. This is the expected effect and the reason why this special dye is used. Depending on the type of wash, Indigo dyed sewing thread has different effects. The ticket numbers are 20, 30, 50 and 100.

Ecologically Dyed Poly Cotton:

This type of thread is produced from high tenacity poly cotton sewing thread. The dye is ecological and the color of the thread fades away after wash. It is avaiable in ticket no 20, 25, 30, 50 and 100; and in 8 colors.
