    KALYON, is manufactured by wrapping spun polyester or cotton onto the continuous filament polyester core. The product is specially engineered for high performance in demanding sewing applications. There are 475 color selections in our KALYON catalogues and over 14 ticket numbers. Tür-ip Sewing Thread Manufacture Co. was founded in 1976 in Istanbul, and has been producing polyester yarn for Turkey since the first day its machines started working.

In time, with its successful development policies and rising quality, went beyond Turkey's borders and built distribution centers in various regions in the world. In Tür-ip's dictionary, the word "stop" doesn't exist. In Turkey, Europe, North Africa, Asia, and with you, the whole world, the goal is to have a robe in every wardrobe sewn from Tür-ip thread. 

 

Our Products...

Tür-ip started its production with polyester sewing thread. Primarily, its aim was to grow in this sector. After accomplishing this aim and becoming one of the biggest producers in Turkey and the world, as the second step, it decided to enlarge its product line. Accordingly, accessories department was founded. The accessories department, with its creative team, has reached to a significant place in the sector in a short time, and became the leader in cotton stripe, herringbone, cord, elastic, satin ribbon, lace produced from its own thread. As of 2011, sewing thread and accessories are the two main products that Tür-ip produces and sells.
